Girls and Boys Hockey today - 2/18 Falmouth

18 February - Big day for Archbishop Williams hockey with both the boys and girls playing in Falmouth today.

Girls hockey will take on Falmouth today at 3PM. This is the final game of the Cape Cod Classic Tournament held at the Falmouth Ice Arena. Falmouth is the defending D2 State Champions. Last year the Bishops lost to Falmouth 2-1 in the second round of the state tournament. This was the closest game of the tournament for the eventual state champion Falmouth team who went on to beat Winchester and Burlington by a combined score of 12-3. Falmouth beat Wellesley in OT 3-2 to win the D2 State title. The Bishops are hoping for a win vs. the State Champions.

Boys Hockey will take on Reading today at 5PM. This is the final game of the Buddy Ferreira Classic Falmouth tournament. Reading is a quality team who is currently on the "Super Eight" watch list. The boys are looking for a big win to get into the state tournament (they boys need a point for tournament, they could technically get in with a tie).

Both these games will have a playoff feel them today. The best part is they are being played back to back, so for the cost of admission for one, you will get to see two great games! Come on down to the Falmouth Ice Arena, 9 Technology Drive, Falmouth, MA. You will not be disappointed!

Good Luck to Vy and Nicole at Sectionals.
