The AWHS qualifiers at the Eastern MA Division 4 State Class Meet represented the school extremely well with 4 individuals and 1 relay team placing. Congratulations to the following:
- Anand Panigrahy - 2nd place in the Triple Jump (43'3")
- Erica Silvia - 5th place in the Javelin (103'10")
- Julia McRoberts - 6th place in the Shot Put (33'7.5")
- Shannon Kelley - 7th place in the 800 Meters (2:23.34) - School Record
- Boys 4 x 100 Meter Relay Team (45.86) - 6th place (William Hua, Brendan McClelland, Tim Riley, Anand Panigrahy)
Anand has qualified for the All-State Meet on Saturday, June 3 at Bridgewater State College (3 p.m.), as one of the 24 best Triple Jumpers in the State! Van will be leaving school at 1 p.m., if anyone would like to join us and support Anand.
