Results from Mass State Track Championship

Some amazing performances characterized AWHS Winter Track Team's final meet of the season.  Here are the highlights:

Placers

Chigozie Sumani - 4th place in the 55 Meter Hurdles.  Chigozie lowered her school record both in the preliminaries and finals to 9.20.  With the top 3 finishers automatic qualifiers to the All-State Meet, Chigozie still has a chance to qualify for the All-States as an at-large performance.  We will know on Sunday when all the divisional meets are completed.

Julia McRoberts - 6th place (33'11") in the Shot Put with her personal best performance of the season.

School Records 

Both the boys (11th place) and girls (16th place) 4 x 200 relays broke the school's records:

            Boys (1:38.28) - Jared Kennedy, Vijay Blair, Sean McA'Nulty, William Hua

            Girls (1:54.71) - Anna Romaine, Kristen Burke, Ashley Tran, Chigozie Sumani
