Updates for 15 March 2022
AWHS Registration Information and checking your status.
Spring Registration -
Registration Closes today the 15th of March. Any registration after the 15th runs the risk of not being cleared to plan in time for tryouts and may miss the first day of tryouts/practice.
Please make sure you are registered on FamilyID.com (www.gobishops.com has a link). After registration the nurse and trainer will ensure you have a current physical, ImPACT (concussion test) completed, and that you have no outstanding injuries. The athletic department will verify that all your past uniforms are in and that you are in good standing with grades and the school. After that is completed the term "Approved" will be put into your registration (which you can check on Family ID). That is the way you determine if you are "Cleared" or "Approved" to participate.
~To check your student-athletes Approval status;
1. Go to Family ID
2. Dashboard - Click Blue button - "View or update registration"
3. Find current sport registration
4. Click Summary (Button is on the right of the registration link)
The status is at the bottom under "memo from AWHS"
***If you are not approved, there will be an approval status note, which will tell you what the student-athlete needs in order to be cleared for try-outs.

Tryout information:
Tryout Times on Monday - All times and locations are weather dependent and will be updated as necessary.
(Tryouts will run all week and times will be assigned as we see field conditions, please be patient):
Track and Field - At Memorial Field - 2:45 - 4:14 PM (Likely time slot for the week)
Girls Lacrosse - At Memorial Field - 4:00 - 5:45 PM (Likely time slot for the first 3 days)
Boys Lacrosse - At Memorial Field - 5:30 - 7:15 PM (Likely time slot for the first 3 days)
Baseball -
If outside (Awaiting condition of fields) 3-5 PM - Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors at French's Common. 7th,8th, and 9th grade will be 3-5 PM at Hollis.
If weather or fields not cooperating we will be using indoor facilities on Monday
***Monday, March 21st, 2022- 1st day of tryouts at Braintree Baseball Club 240 Ivory St Braintree, MA (left side of building to rear- behind Dunkin Donuts- Green canopy).
Monday 3/21 thru Wednesday 3/23:
4-5 pm: 7th-9th Grade
5-6 pm: 10th-12th grade
Softball -
If outside (Awaiting condition of fields) 3-5 PM for all candidates at Flaherty.
If weather or fields not cooperating we will be using indoor facilities on Monday. Likely 3 PM at the Canton Teamworks facility at 5 Carver Circle, Canton MA.
Tennis - 3-5 PM at the Thayer South Complex indoor courts.
