Archbishop Williams Girls Soccer - State Finals

MIAA D3 State Soccer Finals

AW Girls Soccer vs. Sutton
Saturday, November 18th 2017 12:30
Worcester State Univerisity

The girl's soccer team heads to the D3 MIAA State Finals this Saturday at 12:30 at Worcester State University. They will play Sutton HS. Ticket prices are $10/$7 and are set by the MIAA.

The girls regular season record was 15-1-2 and during the tournament have defeated 5 teams to get to the finals; Case HS, Bristol Plymouth Regional HS, East Bridgewater HS, Dover-Sherborne HS and Newburyport HS. Their journey began on August 24th at tryouts and comes to a close on November 18th. The season start to finish is 85 days. The girls have physically been together in a soccer capacity 76 of the 85 days (of the 9 days off, the team did a run on 2 of the days). This is a huge commitment and a testamony to their dedication. We wish them the best of luck in the Finals and certainly hope to see a good crowd there.
